HOW TO GET HERE

Directions to Avalon Gardens from Tucson:

  • Take I-19 south towards Nogales (Tumacacori is approximately 45 miles south of Tucson).
  • From I-19, take exit 25 to Palo Parado Rd.
  • From the off-ramp, take a left onto Palo Parado Rd.
  • Continue about 1 mile across the Palo Parado Bridge before turning left onto Pendleton Drive.
  • Continue driving on Pendleton for approximately 3 miles.
  • Avalon Organic Gardens & EcoVillage will be on your left, just before the road dead ends.
  • Follow the road straight ahead and someone will greet you and direct you where to park.
  • Welcome to Avalon Gardens!

Note: Please be aware that many GPS units and online map sources (including GoogleMaps) will give you directions using a road called Santa Gertrudis Lane. This information is out of date. Access to Pendleton Lane via Santa Gertrudis is blocked by a locked gate maintained by Union Pacific Railroad. For best travel, use the directions provided above.


Directions to Avalon Gardens from Nogales:

  • Take I-19 north towards Tucson (Tumacacori is approximately 15 miles north of Nogales).
  • From I-19, take exit 25 to Palo Parado Rd.
  • From the offramp, turn right on to Palo Parado Rd, continue about 1 mile across Palo Parado Bridge to Pendleton Drive (there is a stop sign); and turn left (north) on Pendleton.
  • Continue driving on Pendleton for approximately 3 miles.
  • Avalon Organic Gardens & EcoVillage will be on your left, just before the road dead ends.
  • Follow the road straight ahead and someone will greet you and direct you where to park.
